Workshop Voron 2.4 350
Voron 2.4 350
Keep a durable reference for the machine's configuration as it evolves.
Current state
Teresa is working again with an attached Box Turtle (serial 582); the earlier Raspberry Pi shutdown cause remains unknown.
Next actionWork through the open calibration — input shaping, per-material pressure advance, and extruder calibration.

What this project tracks
- Original Formbot build
- Hotend, extruder, Orbiter 2.5, Dragon Ace, and Volcano extender history
- MMU, ERCF, 3MS, and AFC exploration
- Reliability changes and current configuration
Equipment and setup
- Formbot Voron 2.4 350 with Kalico, Raspberry Pi 4, BTT Octopus Pro, Mainsail/Moonraker, and a Cartographer V4 probe over CAN.
- FYSETC H36 Combo V2.0 toolhead with Triangle-Lab Dragon ACE hotend and Clockwork 2 extruder.
- Box Turtle four-lane MMU, serial 582, attached to Teresa and using AFC; its enclosure is only partly assembled.
Open problems
- A Raspberry Pi hard shutdown interrupted a print in April 2026. Teresa is working again, but I don't remember what fixed it, so the cause and recovery steps are not recorded.
- Under-extrusion is still being investigated; backlash was adjusted and a flow tower was in progress.
- The bed-relay control wiring has an unresolved configuration/physical-wiring discrepancy; trace it before treating the electrical record as settled.
Project notes
Teresa remains a living machine record rather than a new build announcement. My latest machine notes list a Formbot 350 mm frame running Kalico, a CAN-connected H36 toolhead with Dragon ACE and Clockwork 2, and a four-lane Box Turtle MMU using AFC. As of October 13, Teresa is working again; core calibration work—including input shaping, per-material pressure advance, and extruder calibration—remains open.
The April hard shutdown, under-extrusion work, and the bed-relay wiring discrepancy stay listed under open problems. The attached Box Turtle is serial 582, a separate unit from the Operation: Gray Shell build. It has completed a multi-material print, producing all the colors needed for a serial Turtle.
